A: Don't know if you figured out a solution, but I'd recommend downloading an android remote control app and trying that way.
Q: Will this sound bar work good without a subwoofer or should I get a sound bar w a subwoofer
A: WE HAVE THIS IN OUR BEDROOM, AND IT WORKS GREAT WITHOUT A SUBWOOFER. I HAD THE SAME CONCERN, BUT WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THIS.
