Q: Is it a quiet refridgerator? I am looking for a fridge and have read about so many noisy models
A: The perception of how loud or how quiet something is is very subjective. What you may consider to be loud someone else may not find to be as loud. The sound level of electronic devices is measured in decibels (dB) and the ENERGY STAR® Qualified LG - Studio 23.5 Cu. Ft. Door-in-Door Counter- Depth French Door Refrigerator - Stainless Steel, Model # LSFXC2476S features LG's LoDecibel™ Quiet Operation which is rated at 44 dBA ~48 dBA.(the "A" is the decibel scale that mimics the human ear). By comparison, Normal Conversation at a distance of 3 feet away is rated at 60 dBA. On the decibel scale, a gain of 10 dB is perceived as a doubling of sound intensity and 20 dB as being four times as loud...^IFV
A: The water filter number is LT700P and should be replaced when the indicator comes on.
A: It does not; however, you can easily dump the upper bin into the lower bin.
A: The right hand door of the counter depth door in door model LSFXC2476S does not open to the same extent that the left door does. This is a design flaw with the lower door closing cam. I have been researching a solution to this problem. If you purchase the same model with the "Knock on Glass", the right door opens fully. I am unhappy with this and LG has not be helpful in finding a solution. I bought this 100 days ago and it was just installed by my contractor within the past few weeks. I am past the 90 return policy or I would have returned for a better model/solution.
