LG - TurboWash 3.7 Cu. Ft. 12-Cycle High-Efficiency Steam Front-Loading Washer - Wild Cherry Red

This washer is much better than my previous Bosch front loader. Easy to select cycles with multiple temperature and rinse options. The washer is much faster than my previous unit and cleans much-much better - maybe due to the steam option?? It is fairly quiet and does an excellent job cleaning the clothes. Seems to use much less water and soap than previous unit but best of all the laundry comes out clean and almost dry which saves dryer time.

So far I love this front load washer. After reading all the comments and reviews I chose the LG model. I'm glad I did. The washer is super quiet and does an excellent job. Leveling the washer was easy and I was doing laundry within 5 minutes of getting it hooked up. Highly suggest this washer. I have not had any of the smell issues, I wipe it clean after I'm done. I've only had it a little over a month, so time will tell.

Both my Maytag washer and dryer decided to die at the same time and right before Labor Day weekend. I needed both appliances and somehow try to get them delivered as soon as possible. Consumer Reports rated this high and as a good buy- which it was. I bought both the washer and dryer and hoped Consumer Reports was correct. Thank heavens Best Buy had it in stock and they did everything to get it to me right after Labor Day. What an amazing difference over my Maytags. First quiet- so quiet. Second, I thought I was getting clean clothes before- this machine took out stains that never came out of my old machine. I am a nurse and have to wear white- the white cycle is incredible! I am talking white and I only use detergent no additional whiteners. My clothes do not come out wrinkled and knotted up like before. I had so much fun washing clothes and seeing what this machine could do, that I was looking for things to wash. I did a load of hand washables- incredible. Then I washed the queen size comforter- no problem and took out a wine stain. So pleased with this machine. Strongly recommend it.

I had recently purchased a home that came with a Frigidaire washer/dryer and they were awful - poor quality, poor performance and loud. (As a side note, i called Frigidaire about performance problems with the washer and their customer service was horrible - slow to respond, lots of runaround and unwilling to stand behind their product even though it was still under warranty. So they were definitely off my list.) I'm the kind of person who has to do a lot of research before making a large ticket purchase, so I did - I researched Consumer Reports, many websites and many stores. The LG was ranked very high by both professional and consumer sources. I especially liked the high scores for brand reliability and customer service. When i compared the products in person, the LG was very visually appealing and had many practical and useful features. I bought the washer/dryer combo from Best Buy about a month ago and I genuinely love them both. The quality of the machines seems very high, the performance is outstanding and both are very quiet (this was especially important because the laundry room is nearby the bedrooms). I am very satisfied with the LG and would highly recommend it.

I have owned this washer for a month now. I was intimidated by the program console, but I have found out it is very easy to set up a program and/or customize it. It has way more features than anyone would need, this is why I give it 4's. So far I have done all my loads in cold water (not even warm) and everything has come out beautifully clean. The handwash program does a great job with delicate items. It makes a very strong noise when it's sucking water in at the very beginning, which might be a little frightening; however while washing it is extremely quiet, so until it runs the spin I barely hear it with the laundry room door closed. Finally, I love the color and I love the bouncy tune it plays when it's done washing.

This is a remarkable machine. On the santi-wash cycle it removed old grease smell from son's work clothes. They smell so clean and fresh now! Washer also removed set in stains from grand child's shirts. Couldn't be happier! Very quiet. Love the 'happy' song it plays when wash cycle is complete. It's rather hard for me to read dials on front because they are low and I wear reading glasses. A pedestal should solve that for me. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

My wife and have moved several times in the last few years. This is the 4th time we have puirchased this same washer. We have one in a rental home, 1 in our daughters home, 1 sold with the last house and this one in our new home. We also have the matching dryer for each washer. The washer and dryer work very quickly and do a great job cleaning as well as saving energy. They have also been trouble free.

I strongly recommend this machine. It does a fantastic job washing. There are many options both for different cycles including a sterilizing option. In addition, you can customize the water temperature, spin speed, etc. I notive that washes take much less time, use less water and electricity and it extracts more water from the clothes resulting in shorter time to dry. It's simple to use yet very versatile. I would definitely buy it if I had to purchase another washer!
