A: No to both questions above.
Q: Same protection as othe lifeproofcases case
A: This is just the cover and is not a case, the online information is incredibly misleading, I ordered this and the box it comes in says you need a lifeproof nuud case, which it does not say anywhere on here. So the short simple answer is not even close as it will not offer protection without the actual case.
