A: Use the 75 watt bulb, as long as it fits dimensionally in the can. I've periodically looked at how much bandwidth these bulbs use, and I've never actually seen them use much, if any data, other than updating the firmware. I use Google WiFi routers, so I can see "real time" data usage

A: According to the packaging, they are approved for outdoor use. I have mine in outdoor spotlights on the sofets and have had no issues with them.
