We needed a new wireless keyboard and mouse, as ours did finally started to die, so we went to BestBuy and explained to a store associate, I wanted a wireless keyboard with a mouse, but it must have all the bells and whistles to work with my home computer, so the BestBuy associate escorted my wife and I to the keyboard area in the store to look at all the different wireless keyboards. He immediately explained to us, that this Logitech MK570 is a loaded keyboard and it does come with a wireless mouse. Since my wife works on our home computer most of the time doing her cad drawings, she began to use it in the store to get a feel for it. After a short time she told me, this is the one, as it is even better then our old one, so then I gave it a try and immediately, I knew this was the wireless keyboard and mouse for us. After we paid for the Keyboard and went home to set it up with our home computer which only took 30 seconds and all was working, mouse and keyboard. Just let me say, this wireless keyboard is one fantastic wonder, as Logitech did produce a great product which works wonderful. This Keyboard has every extra button on it, which is what we wanted, as I can zoom up or down, listen to my music and control the volume, go into my Media center, it will also show you on screen, if your caps are on or off, has a very nice padded rest for your hands and other buttons which I haven't even tried yet. The wireless mouse is another wonder, as it is very smooth responsive and easy to use and control, but the best part was the cost at BestBuy, it was very reasonable for this complete wireless Keyboard and mouse package, plus, lets not forget those extra points which do add up! This is a fantastic wireless keyboard and mouse which is well worth the cost which was very reasonable. If your in the need for a new wireless keyboard and mouse, I suggest you look at the Logitech MK570 Model and see for yourself.

This is a solid value on a comfortable, full-sized keyboard and mouse. The keyboard feels very natural in use; after a few minutes I didn't even notice that it wasn't a traditional flat keyboard. Key action is light, but it still offers satisfying feedback. I wish it had indicator lights for CAPS LOCK and Number Lock, though I realize those would drag down battery life. The mouse works well, with good tactile response. The side buttons are easy to access. It took a few minutes to get used to the scroll wheel, which senses acceleration. A fast flick seems to scroll forever! There's a small button near the wheel that switches it to slow mode, so you can scroll accurately. I rarely use that option. I was disappointed that I couldn't define the wheel click as a double click. I've used that option on other mice for years, and I'm sure it's saved my hand from millions of micromotions. Left-handed folks please note that this is strictly a right-handed mouse. It would be very uncomfortable in the opposite hand. The keyboard, however, is fully ambidextrous. Setup was super easy. The tiny Bluetooth dongle provides a strong signal, and pairing was quick and easy. Windows recognized the hardware and installed the necessary drivers instantly. There are minimal instructions in the box, which might confuse novice users, but that's the norm these days. Full documentation is available online. Overall this is an excellent keyboard and mouse package, with one star knocked off for the lack of indicator lights and programmable wheel click. Highly recommended for right-handed users needing a comfortable, full-sized keyboard and mouse, or left-handed users with their own mouse.

I purchased a Logitech Wave keyboard when they first came out with the basic design, the gentle ergonomic curve to the keyboard a less jarring one than other ergo designs. The keys themselves are mechanical and not a membrane so there is more of a push and textural feedback, but that does mean that it's not silent. It does however mean it's up for more sustained, stronger use. The function keys are well spaced to not cause accidental hits, the shortcut keys work out of the box without any special program for setup. The lack of a light indicating the num-lock is on has resulted in a few mistypes, but the lack of light preserves the battery life. The keyboard has transitioned well to a wireless setup, though it is larger than most and can basically qualify as a lapdesk on its own for the size of it thanks to the wrist rest and that they didnt alter the keysize when going from wired to wireless. If you're looking for a space saver, this is not it. It is a part of the 'unity' set of proprietary Unifying software, which is intended to cut down on interference from other wireless devices by 'registering' it with your little wireless dongle in the USB port, but I personally have been unable to get it to set up with it. Hasn't been an issue with another style of Logitech wireless keyboard in use nearby, however. No lag in the keys or interference from the other keyboard. Easily my favorite style of keyboard and happy to have it in a wireless configuration now. This review is only approx a month after purchase so no notes on battery life as of yet other than that I have not needed to replace the battery yet and I don't specifically turn off the keyboard after use like I do the mouse that came with the keyboard. As for said mouse, it's a standard optical mouse with a few features, the ability to unlock the scroll wheel so that it free scrolls quickly is great for moving through large documents or webpages with speed, while locking it again assures a greater control over the distance the scroll moves. Like the keyboard, its not the smallest of wireless mice, fits the hand well in Logitech's ergonomic design, and responds well. Have not needed to replace battery in it either, but do turn it off as it is more likely to be jostled and moved to 'wake' it than the keyboard.

Biggest complaint is that they do not sell this mouse separately. So when I broke one, I had to buy the combo again. The Mouse It has a natural feel to the palm of the hand. It has a nice thumb rest too. The wheel can scroll smoothly, or in increments, making it good for Photoshop. Having programmable buttons, including three just for the thumb, makes it a good choice for gaming. I only play a couple on-line shooter games with other real people, and while it may not stand up to the expensive precision gaming mice, it is comfortable, and sensibility designed. Quite versatile really, having more programmable buttons than most games need. The Keyboard I have used this mouse and keyboard combo for years and I am always afraid they will discontinue it. Although, now I have three of them since I cannot get this mouse without buying the keyboard. So one is at my main work station, one in my living room for when I want to use my TV and stereo as a monitor for video or music editing. And one is just in reserve. The ergonomic aspects of the keyboard are very comfortable for me, much more so than any other ergonomic keyboard I have found, because it is suddenly spread out, and has a slight wave to it, not extreme angles. I also like the ability to mute sound, open the calculator, etc. from the keyboard. I am a writer by trade and spend MANY hours typing away. It is logically set out so it sits on the lap very nicely, for working with a laptop computer (I hate typing on laptop keyboards.) Down sides The computer power button on the keyboard instantly shuts off the computer. It SHOULD bring up the shut down/sleep options or at least offer to save work! For example, if a cat steps on it, you lose all your unsaved work. It is a little long for putting in a back pack or small suitcase. But it is worth it for me because of how well it works.

The keyboard is a very nice unit but does not come with any instructions such as you have to go to Logitech's site to down load the complete operating features. Nowhere in the package or on the keyboard does it explain this. If I had not just replaced another Logitech keyboard I would never know how to activate any of the advanced features that it offers and you can only get by going to their site and downloading the Set Point program, their site is TOTALY unresponsive when going to their support section, the download section works but nothing else responds as it should. I sat and waited several hours for support to respond-nothing. If they would only supply a consumer with total instructions they would get a good review, but as they are now all they want is yoour money and you can try and figure out the advaced options that the keyboard offer. I still have a few questions, but I am sure that they will never be answered as the only way I got a response out of them was by emailing the company at an address I found for them and at that they did not respond to all my questions and incorrectly answered the others. The company years ago sold keyboards that came with instructions and a cd that had the advanced operating data on it, this one only came with 4 of 5 pictures inside the box, no written instructions as before when they made and sold a worthwhile unit

I like the curve of the keyboard, at least my hands fit on a curved keyboard much more natural than a flat one. The unifying receiver is nice, since my work laptop only has 2 USB ports, it's nice to have 1 free, and not have to disconnect a mouse and keyboard when I take it with. The downside, the keyboard seems louder than all the others around me. Could be my imagination, or I could just be hitting them harder. The other thing I'm struggling to get used to is the keys feel loose. It could just be me. I'm used to a keyboard where it feels like the keys are definitive travel path when pressed (not trying to sound pretentious, just can't think of another way to describe it) On this keyboard, it feels like the keys are in a loose/sloppy channel and they move around some when pressed down. It does seem to impact the accuracy of my typing some, HOWEVER, that would just be me getting used to it, or in my head. I like the mouse. Curves fit my hand well, nice selection of buttons without having too many to remember what they all do. I'd recommend going to the store and trying to type sentences on it and see how it feels to you, keyboards and mice are very subjective.. If you feel you can type well on it, go for it. It is comfortable and a great deal.

I adore the size and shape of this keyboard. I'm a professional writer who often travels to speak and attend events. Two things would make this keyboard earn higher ratings from me. 1. Quieter keys—they are loud and take a lot more pressure to type. 2. I've had this keyboard a very short time and I am hearing squeaks. I think the construction could be of higher quality. Now, that said, I love the size and shape so much that I am keeping it. However, I believe that means I will end up having to replace it much sooner than my last ergonomic keyboard that lasted over four years. I don't know how long this one will last, but it doesn't seem to have the quality I'd like to see. Though it's ergonomically shaped, yay, the motion of the keys needs to be more ergonomic. I hope this company will offer an upgraded version with quiet, soft-touch keypads. I'd buy it in a heartbeat. For travel, absolutely. We'll see how it holds up for regular use. I also have the wireless mouse with this wireless keyboard. I like it, but I'd also like to see it be a little wider for the shape of the hand. It feels small. My favorite thing is that it fits easily into my computer bag with my laptop.

The curved keyboard places my hands/wrists at a very natural feeling angle. I really hate flat keyboards now. The mouse is comfortable also and has several programmable buttons for my needs. I also like the unifying receiver fob. My work only has 2 USB ports and I take it back and forth to work, so it leaves 1 port always available and I can leave it plugged in while in the bag, so that's 1 (or 2) less things to plug and unplug every day. The only minor disappointment is the travel of the keys on the keyboard. The keys all work perfectly, no problem there. However, some keyboards' keys feel like they have tight tolerances, when you slide I fingers across the keys they don't wiggle much and when I press them they move up and down in a very precise way. The keys on this keyboard wobble around a little when I slide my and there is more play in the up-down travel when pressed. That said, it really is minor. When I first unboxed it I thought that would bother me a lot and I would be returning it. However, I've been using this combo every day for a couple weeks now and I don't notice it any more.
