No bells and whistles but gets the job done
I needed this for an apartment unit that I'm renting out, so I wanted something that was durable and cost effective. I was happy with the price, and it looks good. Haven't heard any complaints from my tenants. So far so good 6 months in.

Nice size
Bigger than I expected and pretty powerful. Easy to operate and set up. A little louder than the smaller one I had but I imagine that's due to the extra wattage.

Heavy Duty
Magic Chef now makes mostly commercial quality cooking equipment. This micro looks good and cooks well. However it is not quiet. The magnetron is noisy - especially on startup. Door closing is rather loud, and the pushbutton opener is not easy. That being said, it is roomy, works well, and will probably last a long time and not need service calls, based on past experience with Magic Chef. It not for the above items, I would have given it 5 stars.
