The Miracle
With apologies to Queen. Best audio decision I've made in 20 years. Strangely, I have to thank Bowers and Wilkins, and their amazing Pi8 earbuds for making me realize that I wanted more from my home system (KEF Q75's front, DCM Time Frame 700's rear). Now? I'm so glad I didn't bleed off my CD collection. Like other posters have said, this player has a way of making systems sound better than ever, and I am no exception. Now I'm buying CD's again as well . I can't wait for my new Baby Metal CD to show up. Oh, yes. I did have to cut out extra holes in the entertainment center to make it fit. Badly cut, and totally worth it. I also want to mention that the build on this player is rock-solid.

Marantz is for me
I needed to upgrade from a failing multi disc player. The Marantz has provided a more digital playback sound with a couple of equalizer settings. As a single disc player, I don’t have to worry about turntable failure.

Silky buttery smooth sound
My goodness,, my CD collection never sounded this good before,, this unit brings new life to my CD collection, it's got me buying new CD's again, I'm sorry but CD's have the best sound quality over streaming hands down, this Marantz CD player has a silky buttery smooth detailed sound that I love,, got this paired with a Marantz NR1200 av receiver and Kef speakers, if I had one gripe, it's not cheap but you get what your pay for
