MartinLogan - Depth i 8" 900-Watt Subwoofer - Dark Cherry

I say this is the 2nd best sub only because martin logan makes a bigger one. This sub is amazing and you will think so the first day you get it home. but wait over the next 2 months it will slowly get louder and tighter and more detailed until you have to move the volume down to 3 or 4 from 9!!!!!!!! Martin Logan make the best stuff our there with out going above the 7K a pop mark. simply amazing!!!!!!!!

So there has been a way to test a subs true power and control, using a nickel. The idea is that you can place a nickel on its edge on top of the sub, and it won't move or fall over while the sub is playing. You can actually do that with this sub. This sub unlike its big brother is ment for music, being that it has 3 8" woofers instead of 3 10" woofers. So this sub is equal to a 15" driver in power, but as clean and capable as any 8" sub on the market. The bigger 10" decent i is ment for movies, not as clean, but goes much deeper and hits much harder. Not to say this sub won't blow you away with movies, but it is definatly a music sub. This sub is huge and weights near 100 lbs, with the decent in at 120. lbs. Magnolia doesn't sell a sub that can touch this, not even close.
