A: I have owned Klipschorns. They are fine speakers. Very dynamic low distortion 3way horn speakers. If I had another largish room I would own a pair today. The Neolith is a different animal all together. From 250Hz up to far beyond my hearing ( my Klipschorns had a lot to do with that). The electrostatic element reveals so much more detail from my music I find it difficult to describe what I hear when I turn the system on. I can’t pay attention to anything else. You must hear these things if you can. Now the price. Believe it or not, these speakers are considered a bargain. They compete with the $700,000 Wilson’s, MBLs X-Tremes and Magico’s top model. All these fine speakers are much more and don’t offer the musical experience the Neolith’s can .
Q: How in the world could this speaker possibly cost this much?
A: Because to some people this isn't that much money. I am not one of those people. :)
