Maytag 24" Portable Dishwasher
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this product on 8-17-09.In december 2009 a week before christmas the front control panel burnt out.This panel is similar to the functions on a mircowave,it is the brain of the product.Subsequently about 10 days later this control panel was replaced.Now August 1 2010 the front control panel has burnt out AGAIN! So i had to purchase a 3yr extended warranty because this product is like a bic lighter every 200 touches of the control panel and its time for a repair.Avoid this product they dont make them like they did 20 or so years ago.Also trying to talk with there service dept is a nightmare and waiting for back ordered parts is horrible....

Stay away from this one

It now makes so much noise we almost cannot use it. One of the noises sounds like live electrical wires grounding out. The first cycle of washing has gone from 5 minutes to just a few seconds. Maytag will not help with the problems as there is not a Maytag repairman in this area.

So we looked at the reviews and shopped around till we found this little gem,Il tell you what,this is the best dishwasher ive seen in years. We had a kmore and thought it was good and the reviews on ge weren't that good so went with this one. Hands down it is the best ive seen,it will clean stailess pots and pans or baking dishes without pre rinsing. For an experiment i left mashed potatoes and dried on oatmeal in there pans then fried bacon and drained the grease,put them all in with the dishes and everything came out spotless.I highly recommend.
