Maytag - EPICz 3.7 Cu. Ft. 10-Cycle Washer - White

THIS WASHER IS GREAT!!! I LOVE DOING LAUNDRY NOW. THE FIRST LOAD WE WASHED WE SAT THERE AND WATCHED IT. COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW WELL THE CLOTHES WASHED WITH THE SMALL AMOUNT OF WATER IT USED. THE MAX EXTRACT IS GREAT THE CLOTHES ARE JUST DAMP TAKES NO TIME TO DRY A LOAD OF TOWELS. DON'T TRY TO WASH A KING SIZE BEDSPREAD IT CAME OUT CLEAN LOOKED GREAT BUT EVEN WHEN I USED THE MAX EXTRACT IT DIDN'T SPIN OUT TOO WELL AND WAS VERY WET I TRIED THE EXTRA 14 MINUTES MAX EXTRACT AGAIN AND IT WAS STILL VERY WET. IT WAS JUST TO BIG FOR THE WASHER. MY FAULT !!!!!!! I RECOMMEND THE PEDESTAL I ORDERED IT BUT WILL TAKE 2 WEEKS TO GET IT. THE EXTRA 10 OR 15 INCHES MAKES A BIG DIFFERENCE IN BENDING OVER TO GET THE LAUNDRY OUT IF YOU ARE YOUNGER NO BIG DEAL BUT I AM OLDER AND IT IS A PROBLEM FOR ME. YOU WILL LOVE THIS MACHINE. I WANT THE MATCHING DRYER NOW. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PLENTY OF HELP IF YOU PICK THIS UP FROM THE STORE TAKE MY ADVICE HAVE IT DELIVERED. I ALSO PURCHASED THE SERVICE POLICY FOR 5 YEARS CAN'T BEAT THE PRICE.

Our 7 year old washing machine broke in December and we were desperate for a new one. After a TERRIBLE experience at another store, I decided to try Best Buy. We had some constraints to work with (depth for side by side was less than most washers these days and if we staccked the units they could not be 6 ft tall or I could not reach the controls). The customer service was WONDERFUL! They suggested this model (which when stacked with the dryer is only 5.5 ft tall) and explained all of the features. Once we decided this is what we wanted the transaction took 15 minutes! (the other place we had been took over 30!). I have now been using this washing machine for almost a month. It is slightly noisy during the spin cycle, but what washing machine isn't? My clothes come out clean! The spin cycle does a great job of getting out the water, so my dryer only runs for 40 minutes or less. The regular cycle is 56 minutes long, but there is a quick cycle that is about 30 minutes. All the options are great! I love having a white cycle so that I can bleach and get an extra rinse. There is a sanitary cycle that actually takes ALL of the stink out of the dog towels and blankets (our old washing machine just masked the smell with the detergent). Overall, I am so happy with this purchase! I am glad we went to best Buy (for the service) and I am very pleased with their suggestion for buying this washing machine!

Made two service calls already, and it is still not fixed. It vibrated violently and moved. The user manual even has a term for this: "Walking" Don't buy this model.
