Its really as easy as just hovering the device above the keboard and it will "snap" magnetically in place and immediately allow you to plug and play with no issues. Highly recommended!!

A Must for all Surface Owners

Whenever I don't feel like using the key board then I just snap it off. The strong magnets that hook it to the tablet PC make it easy to connect that you could even hook it up in the dark without having to see, it just knows where to go.

But it did not come with a keyboard. I was able to find the keyboard for an open box price on Best buy. It's a great functioning keyboard. Just click and go.

- A:Answer Yes, it works with Pro X, Pro 8 and Pro 9. It is a little less expensive than the "Signature Pro Keyboard" because there is no holding area for the slim pen.
