Q: is this model compatible with SURFACE PRO 8, 13 inches?
A: I'm using it right now without an issue, so it might not be compatible with the surface pro 7, but for the pro 8 is working for me.

Q: Does this keyboard charge and hold my surface slim pen?
A: No, this one does not include the charging well and holder for the surface slim pen. I don't have need of the pen and so purchased this surface keyboard for my Surface Pro X.
Q: Is this compatible with the pro 9 ?
A: Yes, it works with Pro X, Pro 8 and Pro 9. It is a little less expensive than the "Signature Pro Keyboard" because there is no holding area for the slim pen.
Q: I have a surface Pro 4, is this keyboard compayable with that? If not, which one is?
A: I do not believe it is. This is the newer, 2-prong keyboard that works with the Surface Pro X and 8.
Q: Do the keys light up? If so, do they change color or just one?
A: Yes, this keyboard is backlit, but only with one color, a white or light blue color.
