Q: will this work with Samsung tv steam app?
A: Yes, my son uses wireless controller to play stem app on his computer and works fine, he enjoys hours of playing
A: I cannot confirm if it works with Windows 8 or lower, but I certainly does indeed work well with all of the games I've tried with it, Xbox or not.
Q: what kind of batteries can bu use on this controller?
A: Two double AA. If you’re thinking of using rechargeable ones, get energizer or Duracell since these typically provide higher NiMH than what the Xbox branded rechargeable batteries do. In other words, the higher the NiMH, the closer the voltage of power to that of a regular alkaline/disposable battery gives. Cheers!
