Upgrade now!
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. The Xbox One X is amazing and a bargain 4k video and 4k gaming console @ this special $299.00 price tag! If you are upgrading from an original xbox one or and xbox one s you are going to notice massive improvements. #1 the graphics will be the biggest. Gaming in 4k! Not available on the xbox one or xbox on S (4k blue and video playback is available in 4k on the S model but not gaming) speed is #2 (menu and loading times will blaze by compared the other models. On average I feel that its around 20%. I judge this based on my son and I played the same games at the same time with a regular xbox one and a xbox one x. It was very apparent the x greatly out preforms the other console. (We now have 3 xbox one X's) #3 its way smaller. Thats right this Xbox wont need its own entertainment center and it has a internal power brick! Altogether I would say it takes up about 25-35% less space than the Xbox one. Now 3 things to consider (not necessarily negative but things you really need to be aware of before you buy. # 1 the games are larger download size so....#2 your gonna need lots of storage space. You will eat through that 1tb hard drive a lot quicker than you might think! (If you want to have more than 5-10 games loaded up at once than you are going to have to buy and external hd. Ive had great success with the Seagate Xbox Licensed product line. They have 1-8tb hhd drive (maybe a 12tb in that line now I dont remember)in the standard (cheapest and largest capacity models) or they have 500gb-2tb in their Solid State Drive (SSD) (fastest and will make any xbox or xbox one X run much much faster-they are much much more expensive and are on the smaller side. You buy the solid state for the speed! #2 know your internet pricier and If you play a lot you better watch your data cap or get an unlimited one. Our house hold will easily go well over a 1 terabyte of data on any given month. #3 The 4k is beautiful but is your tv even 4k? You wont have to upgrade your tv but your not really utilizing the biggest feature of the X, it's 4k graphics if you dont have a 4k tv. Inside this bundle: 1 month free xbox live gold, 1 month free xbox game pass, 1 month free EA access Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order (Don't use any of these prior to your best buy 15 day return expiring or they wont take the Xbox back or they will hit you with fees) A little about the game. This is not a full review. I have only played it about 3 hours because if having to hold on to the code because the return policy. Also I am a huge Destiny player and main that game so I spend the majority of my playtime on Destiny 2 currently. I game at least 5 days a week around 6 hours give or take per day. That being said, if you love Star Wars (fanboys unite) and happen to play video games then you will love this game. It feels like its straight from the current cannon and feels like a movie that you can interact with and has a video game woven into it. If you are a huge gamer and happen to like Star Wars I feel like you could get a slight touch of dissapointment. This game is no Star Wars Battlefront or the Force unleashed. Like I said this is a movie/cut scene heavy playable cinematic piece. It is very fun and I enjoyed it immensely for the few hours that I've played so far. ( I'm a huge gamer that happens to love Star Wars. The graphics are great it feels like the current Star Wars Canon and the gameplay isn't broken ( at times I can feel a little awkward or clunky but majority of the time is pretty reasonable) my brother came in the room when I started it and does all which Star Wars are you watching so like I said Graphics sound content if you like Star Wars don't pass it up.! Wait! What about the new xbox coming out soon? If you are on the fence about the next gen console hes what I would tell you. Do a little research of your own. But from what I heard so far, Microsoft claims that there will be a. Smooth transition durring and after the launch of the Series X. You will be able do play almost all the games even with freinds that run out and buy one on day one. So not a huge rush unless you want to. Personally Im gonna wait for the first price drop or at least the first model change ( make sure the launch consoles aren't bricking or burning down houses early on). Personally as much as I play this buy will easily be worth it. Thanks

Posted .Hey there,
Thank you for sharing your great thoughts on Xbox One X and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. We're glad that you're enjoying its enhanced graphics and speed, too. Investing in an external hard drive is an excellent suggestion, too, especially if you have a large collection of games. And yes, you've heard correct: Xbox Series X will be backwards compatible with most Xbox One games. But until it comes out, we hope you'll have a lot of fun with your new Xbox One X.
Happy gaming,

Had to Switch; Not Sorry
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I've had a Xbox 360 for the last decade and have enjoyed using it, mainly over the last six years to play streaming wargame. Unfortunately, I got a message last month telling me that their support for the 360 was ending in July. So, I had to decide to either wait around until the Christmas season to see about getting the new Xbox Series X (which no guarantee that my game would be supported even then), losing all sorts of time in Xbox Gold and Premium account time in my game, switching over to the Sony's PS4 or going with the Xbox One system. The problem with Xbox One was that I couldn't find an Xbox One X for sale at a reasonable price just about anywhere, mainly because folks had bought them up when the kids got sent home from school during the virus emergency. All that was available was the Xbox One S, which appeared to me to be a lower-powered system. Finally, Best Buy got the Xbox One X with a 1T drive at a fairly reasonable price and, getting a price break because of my Rewards membership made it a bit more affordable, I went ahead and ordered it. Just a few days after purchasing the system and picking it up, the price dropped $100, so I got a credit, making the deal that much better. Hooking the Xbox One X to my TV at home was simple and straightforward. Getting it to hook up to my network was also pretty easy--getting it to hook up to my Microsoft account wasn't quite as easy. I finally got it figured out however, and got things running. Now, games I had previously downloaded to my 360 didn't all transfer over, mainly only a late Halo game and apparently not all 360 games have compatibility with the X system. I'm not a big gamer, frankly, and I still have the 360 hooked up if I want to play the older games if I want to. My favorite game downloaded on-line and looks very good in the updated graphics with 4k and HDR on the X, much better than the 360. The Xbox controller that came with the system feels well built and solid and, so far, no issues with it. I haven't downloaded a lot of other apps at this point from the Microsoft store; the few I have seem to work pretty well. I have my own DVD player at home that works well with my Samsung 4k TV, but I read on-line that, unlike the 360, the X requires an app to be downloaded to run DVDs and that most of the folks who'd tried it didn't much care for it. Since most of my TV watching these days is by streaming through my cable box (so I don't get hit with data caps from my cable provider for outside units), I don't need the DVD player except to run games anyway. So, if you're looking for 8k compatibility and whatever it is that the Series X will be offering and want to wait until the end of the year, don't buy the Xbox One X; it is older tech after all. But most of you probably won't need the Series X when it comes out and won't be able to find a game that'll take advantage of the 8K when it comes out for a while anyway. I think the One X is still pretty good stuff, likely better than the One S, and if you find it on sale and have some Rewards points to use, it'll be worth it for a few more years at least. My system came with a code for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, which I've downloaded. It looks really good, but I've only played it once. Other codes were for Xbox Live (which is a trial period and I'm not all that interested in it at this point) and SiriusXM (which I already have and can't take advantage of) and a free month of Xbox Gold (which I did make use of).

Perfect Choice for 4k Fanatics!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Coming from a first generation Xbox One to the One X is quiet literally a flawless transition, so with that said all the usual things Xbox owners have experienced in the past and have grown to love about Microsofts flagship console all apply here and are to be expected when purchasing this console.. but the true difference in this unit is what's on the inside! As soon as you boot up the system it rewards you with a crisp load up screen and reminds you of the technological advancements Microsoft has implemented to make the Xbox One X a totally emersive experience.. From playing my favorite familiar games, to diving into Jedi Fallen Order it is clear to see that seeing is believing! And the clearity of a 4k picture trump's all when it comes to gaming. Games I've played for years now look new and fresh; i.e more detailed and rich, with further draw distances and quicker loading times on maps, and making new Triple A games showstoppers! Altogether the One X is a true pleasure to own, and breathes new life into the term "gaming." Graphics aside the improvements to the consoles fit finish and controller are to be noted out of the box, a more solid and "made with appreciation feel" come to mind when holding the unit for the first time. In all I'm impressed and more than happy with my purchase. A side note - !Purchaser Be Warned! This unit undoubtedly looks the best when coupled with a 4k television! BUT will function just as well without one ..at the sacrifice of some detail on screen.. regardless the purchasing of this unit will guarantee to be a worth it one if you appreciate crisp details, true emersion, faster load times, and or if you are a 4k fanatic! It's a true step forward in gaming and worth the extra cost!

XBOX X 1TB
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.Got it on sale for $299.99 for a corona virus past time. I'm an old guy at 61.5 years but wanted to play online with my son on the other side of USA (to keep in touch). It take a bit for us seniors to learn some basic concepts of controller use but it's a computer use friendly system overall! The Star Wars Jedi game has neat graphics and is impressive. Gotta admit I like sports games more...Doom is a blast but I have a lifetime of about 3 secs with that game. Short fun is better than no fun at all! Overall, no brainer good buy for those of us hunkered down. The games like Far Cry sort of seems a little too realistic for the times (I do want to try the Pandemic game!)...but hey..corona virus is where we are so why not good a good gaming system? Xbox X fits that bill!

Posted .Hey there,
We're delighted to hear that Xbox One X is helping you stay in touch with your son long-distance. If you're new to gaming, we recommend giving Xbox Game Pass a try; it gives you access to 100+ great Xbox games, including brand new Xbox exclusives such as Ori and the Will of the Wisps and Gears 5. A one-month trial membership to Xbox Game Pass should've been included with this bundle.
Hope that helps,

Great Bundle at Sale Price
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.I purchased a Samsung Q70 and was shopping for 4k players... Instead of spending $150-200 on a player I decided to upgrade my Xbox One Elite. Out of the box I noticed this is a much smaller profile than the elite. The disk slot is more hidden and subtle, a little black button to eject.(which is great so my 2yr old doesn't try to take out DVDs) The unit just feels more dense, compact and solid. It doesn't have a massive powerbrick to bulk up behind tv stand wiring. The 4k HDR content is awesome. Immediately noticed the difference on Call of Duty. Much sharper image and the depths of blacks and dark colors. (I did run the Elite on the Q70 for a week) NHL looked way cleaner and sharp. Forza 7 and Monster Supercross 2 looked great. Overall I am happy with my decision to jump on this bundle at $350. The only con might be just me making things up but I feel like the controller is a little cheaper than the ones I buy for $50-60. It just seems lighter or the plastic is thinner and the buttons dont feel as crisp.

The most powerful console on the planet!
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I have wanted to do high end gaming for some time, and had come to the realization that it would be impossible to do it on my home computer, and found it also impossible to upgrade it to do so. When I learned about the Xbox One X console I was intrigued, and started to look into it. I was astounded to learn that it had the gaming capability of a high end gaming pc, as well the ability to play 4K Ultra HD Blu-Ray movies. On top of that, its cost was a small fraction of what it would cost for a gaming pc with the same features. To top it off, the unit looks good in my living room under my 4K Sony TV. I pulled the trigger and ordered it just two days before it was sold out, and consider myself fortunate to have obtained one of the last units presently available. I have been playing with it almost a week now, and it simply blows me away. The games in 4K are like interactive movies. I have found it possible to have already amassed a collection of almost 20 games, by taking advantage of the many sales and discounts at Best Buy. I have already filled the 1TB drive in the machine! A few add-ons I have added to my system are: WD My Book 4TB Ext. USB 3.0 Drive (for games and apps) WD Easystore 2TB Ext. USB 3.0 Drive (for music, videos, etc.) Logitech C615 Webcam (for Skype) Sennheiser Game One Headset For anyone wishing to get into high end gaming at a moderate cost, you can't do better than this machine! I highly recommend it.

- A:Answer The X is much more powerful of a console, it’s 4K HDR compatible where has the S is weaker by comparison significantly but it does has HDR functionality.
