A: Hey Bill, there's no warranty to replace filters, but our devices also won't "clog" as our primary method of filtration is actually destroying the pollutants that pass through the filter using chemical reactions. Your filters will, of course, still be functional after 6 months, but we've gone through extensive statistical modeling and testing that suggests changing filters at the 6 month mark helps maintain optimal performance.
Q: Is this filter HEPA certified?
A: Hi Ana, we do not use HEPA technology. Instead, our products employ Photo Electrochemical Oxidation (PECO) technology to clean the air of all impurities. Unlike a HEPA filter, which only traps and collects pollutants, PECO works at the molecular level to destroy toxic gases, allergens, microbes, and other substances in the air regardless of size.
