I own a Velodyne CHT-10 subwoofer and originally had a regular RCA cable hooked up to it and it sounded decent. After purchasing this cable and bringing it home I put in a bass cd so I could see just how much difference might be, if any, between the two cables. After installing the new cable I was surprised at just how much bass response I was missing. It's a great purchase!

I've got this cable for my "entry level" surround sound system and it works great with my Sub. I've got an entry level sub and the guys at Magnolia said this would work well and it does, i'm perfectly satisfied - but do plan on upgrading in the future. Get this if your first starting out and want to "test the waters" before you plunge into the expensive stuff.
