Q: I read on one of the reviews that Google Maps doesn't work on the Moto G5 plus. Is that true?
A: Google maps works perfectly on my phone. Might have been a faulty set. No issues here.
A: Yes it works on Verizon tracfone 20$ cards or 99 $ annual cards and I use 10$ data cards.
A: It depends on you. Megapixels only affects the resolution of the photos, but not the overall quality of the photo. And having more Megapixels also reduces your low-light capabilities. The wider Aperture size of the Moto G5 Plus also allows you to take better shots than the more narrow size of the camera aperture on the Moto G4 Plus. After all, the Moto G5 Plus is using the same camera sensor found within both the Galaxy S7 & S8 (although it won't take great shots like those two phone due to the mid-range phone processor). The Autofocus on the Moto G5 Plus is practically much faster than the Moto G4 Plus since it uses DualPixel focus instead of the Laser Autofocus on the G4 Plus. Finally, the Moto G5 Plus can both shoot videos on 4K in 30 fps & 1080p in 60 fps (although digital stabilization won't work with these two video settings on).
Q: Does this phone line work with Sprint's Boost Mobile?
A: Yes, it does.
Q: Is the battery removable and replacable in this phone?
A: Not removable.
Q: Will this phone upgrade to android O?
A: This phone is and will be perfectly capable of running Android O, however, it is Lenovo (who own the Motorola Mobile brand) who has to "convert" the version of Android and release it as part of an update. Unfortunately both Motorola and Lenovo don't have very good track record for updating their products, having said that, the phone is unlocked, when the time comes you should be able to install one of the many after market android versions out there.
Q: Will this phone work on the Cspire network?
A: Hi Lmac, Here's our list for the carrier's compatibility for our phones: https://www.motorola.com/us/carrier-compatibility. You can verify with your carrier if they carry this phone. ~Moto_Daisy
Q: Can you use Google voice/Hangouts instead of a carrier? (Wifi from home network or hotspot)
A: This phone is set up with a Google account and uses wireless, so, yes? This question seems too easy so I'm worried that I may be missing something. Any device that can have google hangouts installed on it, use the internet, and has a camera should be able to do this just fine. I've never heard of an android phone that can't?
