A: You can use any AT&T prepaid phone on a post paid account as long as the SIM card is the correct size from any previous phone. If you don't have a nano sim to place into the Motorola - Moto E5 Play then going to your local AT&T and make a request will make it happen.
Q: looking for a reasonably priced at&t Go Phone that will work well in rural areas with low signal.
A: The Moto E5 Play I just got gets better reception on AT&T than others I've had. My part time retirement job is at a campground in between two major Civil War battlefields where no cell phone towers are allowed and reception is notoriously poor. I get calls through when other phones fail. Internet reception on AT&T works even when I run out of my dinky 1GB high speed allotment.
Q: Will this Moto phone upgrade to Android 8.1 or the top 9.0 on its own? Please inform. Thanx! ♐
A: Runs 8.1 out of the box. Is on 9.0 list for updates.
Q: Can this phone be used with H2O wireless?
A: Yes! I have two of these on H2o
A: Hi Drkjr, Thanks for reaching out. This phone does have a screencast option available. In case you have questions, please email us at [email protected] to further assist you. - Frank
Q: Do I just use a prepaid at@t card to activate
A: It is coming with SIM card. You can purchase it already activated or activate at home. I just inserted my old activated SIM and it worked just fine.
Q: Will this work with cricket wireless
A: Yes, I just bought this for my grandma & she uses it on Cricket Wireless. Just pop in the sim and it is ready to go.
Q: What is the locking period. Otherwise, when can we unlock and move it to other carriers?
A: 6 months active on AT&T. However, it will work out of the box on any MVNO that runs on AT&T's network including Cricket.
