Undervolts well, but had finger prints on new card

I moved from a RX 480 8GB to this RX 6800 16GB Reference model from MSI. The card is excelent, I was able to undervolt it and overclock to get about 5% more frames out of it.
There was just one problem, my particular card I picked up from the store had no plastic wrap on it, it looked like the box had been opened and had finger prints on the backplate. Best Buy did nothing about it and told me I could return it, but they couldn't replace it due to lack of inventory, and they said that it wasn't opened so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I'm not happy with Best Buy, but the card is a really nice upgrade.
My stable Undervolt
GPU 900mV GPU, MAX Frequency 2400MHz
VRAM: Max Frequency 2112MHz
Memory Timing: Fast Timing
Power Tuning: Power Limit 15% extra

Great card with decent performance.
Way better than my 5700xt.
I overclock/undervolt my card as per AncientGameplays on YouTube and under sustained game use max temperatures hit ~60°C and ~78°C hot spot on Cyberpunk 2077.
Only con and reason for 4 stars is this card would be a more compelling offer at $500.
If you're forking over $580+tax you might as well get the 6800xt.
Though, if this is your only option like it was mine it's still a great card.

Reference model looks great and feels solid. Has a huge amount of VRAM, great for futureproofing. I'd pay the extra $80 over the 3070 for twice the VRAM. Great 1440p144 high-ultra GFX or 4k60 medium-high GFX card.

It's a beautiful card and has pretty decent thermals, especially in my ITX case. Great 1440p or 1080 high refresh card. Drivers are lacking in comparison to Nvidia.

Card quality is great and for its price, it runs games fantastically. I would have given it a full 5 stars if the drivers weren’t so hit or miss and regularly available.

Great card if you don't care about ray tracing!

Great AMD GPU! I don't care much about ray tracing, I went from an RTX 2060 to this beast, and have it pared with a 165hz 2K display. Amazingly consistent FPS, and the 16GB of VRAM will keep me for a couple of years.
These OEM RX6xxx series are TANKS! My last card was a "value" version, and this thing is about the same length, within a half of an inch, but weighs a WHOLE POUND MORE! (and the 6800 has a SMALLER heatsink than the 6800XT/6900XT OEMs) The aluminum on the back, plus the beasty heatsink, make it really feel like a premium product from AMD.
Depending on your preference between the 2 biggest desktop GPU companies, this one slots between the 3070 and 3080. While the overall value isn't perfect vs the 3070 at MSRP, I expect the 16GB of VRAM will keep it ahead in the futureproofing department.
(I'm a big fan of AMD, but will usually go with the better value, but this purchase was only because I was lucky to get one of anything in stock!)

Good card. I admit, wanted an XT, but this card is a solid card if you get it at MSRP.

Fantastic performance for the price. Easy to get my hands on and fantastic look.
A:they should stop buyers from buying up all the cards just to turn around and list them on ebay marked up in price. What a crap show. Makes me mad we can't find these cards other than ebay marked up in price. I will not support scalpers!
A:Yes, Hello there! I emailed AMD and they said they are still not in stock. Maybe looking at between ~late March to late August. After the release of the 6700xt mid March, then hopefully they will announce when they will actually be sending stock to AIB. They are making more reference cards, which I want. AMD never gave me a real response on a wait list. I did ask. Check on AMD site frequently. Hope this helps.
