Fastest thing AMD has ever made
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easily 5 out of 5 but took a star off because it was so hard to get this card and even harder to get it for MSRP. Big props to Bestbuy for not price hiking like others (looking at you Newegg) and selling it for what AMD sells it at on their site. Now for the review part, I've had cards from both big brands and this is the fastest card i have ever owned. It beats the 1080ti i had and doubles the 5700xt handily. The quality of the reference card is much better than AMD has offered in previous years and although I've heard people complain of coil wine i personally have none. But my case is a little loud with a 3900x OC'd heavily so my fan curve is aggressive anyway. The card is super easy to OC if you want and with the new thermal/frequency algorithm they use if you water block it you can get really high clock speeds. If you can find this card it is very nice but with the 6800xt giving you close to this level of performance for several hundred less (if you can find it at msrp) i would say the 6800xt is the sweet spot for price to performance. I just finished a new build and wanted the biggest AMD had to offer this gen so i got the 6900xt instead. May not seem worth it now but it may keep me from having to upgrade as soon in the future.

Great Card and Price relative to the market
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In a normal GPU market the $999 price would be overkill for a card like this. Considering it’s $700 for the 6800XT which performs about as good. But considering GPUs are near impossible to get at the moment of this review and these AMD reference cards also haven’t seen the huge tariff mark ups custom cards are experiencing this card is basically the best deal in pc gaming LOL. Not kidding $1000 for a card that performs as good as a 3090/3080 in most situations minus Ray tracing of course.

4K Rasterization Beast
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The 6900 XT is a beast at both 1440p and 4K gaming and now that AMD has Fidelity Super Resolution (FSR) you can now game at 4K with max settings with ray tracing on; in games that support it. You have 16GB of GDDR6 to help you on your journey of delivering high framerates and beautiful visuals in both open-world games and first-person-shooters. The graphics card is equipped to with PCI-Express gen 4 with Resizable Bar and Smart Access Memory to allow your CPU to take full advantage of the GPU's memory. Overclocking is available to you as well with the one click overclock in the AMD Radeon Software called Rage Mode, but you're free to do a custom OC if you wish.

A gamers GPU, but a little overpriced.
||Posted . Owned for 4 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely a gamers GPU, and you can't go wrong with paying MSRP for reference or compatibility for watercooling. Mine did have coil whine (along with the 3080 FE I've owned). Very easy to disassemble and compatibility for waterblocks is excellent as my Alphacool block works on the 6800, 6800xt, 6900xt reference models. Disappointing that I did not get any perk such as a mousepad or "R" key, but that's not too important. AMD drivers have always been plug and play - no tweaking involved to get the best clarity jumping into a game right after a fresh hardware/software install. $999 is quite a bit, had this been $799 then I wouldn't have bothered stepping down to a 6800xt, which I've had more fun overclocking than any 3000 series GPU. Already surpassed stock performance on a 3090 and 6900xt on 3DMark TimeSpy.

Great Card!
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Honestly can't believe I scored one of these for MSRP. Great card! Waiting for better drivers and more games that actually support RTX. This card fits comfortably between a 3080 and 3090. In a lot of instance it performs better. Either way it destroys everything I throw at it.

Very Lucky
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got lucky and managed to snag this in the great GPU crisis of 2020-202? back in January. It was a more expensive version than I had intended to buy, but after months of not being able to get anything I snagged this as soon as I could. Had no problems with it and it runs everything incredibly well.
