Customers regard the AMD Radeon RX 6800 as a great graphics card with decent performance and a huge amount of VRAM, which they believe is great for futureproofing. However, some customers feel that the price is a bit high compared to other graphics cards on the market.

I moved from a RX 480 8GB to this RX 6800 16GB Reference model from MSI. The card is excelent, I was able to undervolt it and overclock to get about 5% more frames out of it. There was just one problem, my particular card I picked up from the store had no plastic wrap on it, it looked like the box had been opened and had finger prints on the backplate. Best Buy did nothing about it and told me I could return it, but they couldn't replace it due to lack of inventory, and they said that it wasn't opened so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I'm not happy with Best Buy, but the card is a really nice upgrade. Great card with decent performance. Way better than my 5700xt. I overclock/undervolt my card as per AncientGameplays on YouTube and under sustained game use max temperatures hit ~60°C and ~78°C hot spot on Cyberpunk 2077. Only con and reason for 4 stars is this card would be a more compelling offer at $500. If you're forking over $580+tax you might as well get the 6800xt. Though, if this is your only option like it was mine it's still a great card.

Reference model looks great and feels solid. Has a huge amount of VRAM, great for futureproofing. I'd pay the extra $80 over the 3070 for twice the VRAM. Great 1440p144 high-ultra GFX or 4k60 medium-high GFX card.
