Makes my life a little more organized
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I'm not a techie. I have purchased two Max Hubs. One I use in the kitchen and one in my bathroom. The one in the bathroom I like to watch YouTubeTv on in the morning when I'm getting ready for work. The one in the kitchen is my go-to hub for setting up reminders, controlling the temp in the house, talking to my kids on Duo, turn lights off and on, viewing recipes, checking the weather, listening to my favorite "oldies" when I'm cleaning house, and just in general the little conveinences it offers. Also find it fun to ask it questions. Do you know all the state capitols? I think I do now.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed.Our Nest Hub Smart Display is a great addition to our smart home. It really complements out Kitchen Island. I use every day, by turning on the lighting through out the house since we have Phillip Hue. Then adjusting the Nest thermostat or just asking Google questions . The most what I like about it is ai can stream Youtube , Netflix or watch the news. Our cat also likes to watch videos on Youtube for hours. We had the smaller version, but since we use it so much, we went with the larger 10 inch display. A good investment. We enjoy it.

It allows me hands free access to news, recipes, data, weather, calendar and so much more hands free while getting ready for my day. It’s small footprint makes it perfect for my kitchen counter. Camera provides for video calls, security, communication with family through app when I’m away from home. Lots of fun canes to access. Also acts as a media center with the option to use as a digital photo display. You can search the web but it isn’t as easy as I would like but that’s a minor downside.

Posted .Hi there ItsLou, it's great to hear that you're content with your purchase of Nest Hub Max. However, we're sorry to hear that the brightness of the display on your Nest Hub Max isn't making any adjustments, and that you're experiencing some lag.
Your Nest Hub Max comes with an Ambient EQ feature, that dynamically adjusts the color temperature and brightness of your display to create a non-intrusive smart display experience. And if the lights in your room are all turned off, it will enable Low-light mode. It will be enabled regardless if Ambient EQ is on or off. When in Low-light mode, the display will either show the time or turn the screen off completely. You can adjust the settings for when to activate Low-light mode, and select what you’d like the screen to show during Low-light mode when you navigate to the Display settings on your Home app.
As for the slow load time issue, we recommend trying out the following steps to further isolate the root cause:
- Check if your Nest Hub max is getting a strong Wi-Fi signal from your outer. Placing it within a line of sight of your router will ensure it gets a stable and fast connection.
- You may also try resetting Nest Hub Max to check if it will help fix the loading times. Keep in mind that this will erase all data and you may need to set it up again. To reset, check on the back of Nest Hub Max, press and hold both volume buttons together for about 10 seconds. Your Nest Hub Max will let you know that it's resetting.
