AC750 Wifi Extender Connectivity to Home Network
||Posted .I have a Netgear R6300V2 Router with beam forming technology in a 3000 square foot home. The R6300 covered most of the 3000 square foot home; however, I needed to extend the WiFi signal to provide WiFi coverage to an outdoor area just beyond the reach of the R6300. I purchased the Netgear AC750 and placed it about half way between the outdoor area and the R6300 and I was able to connect to my home network by connecting to the unique SSID I configured on the AC750 Extender. On the AC750 I pointed one of antenna's toward the outdoor area and pointed the other antenna in the direction of the R6300 router. I now have WiFi coverage indoors and outdoors.

Happy Street Rodder
||Posted .Works Great! Took a few resets to get it to work, Final download kept coming up cannot find site. Looked up trouble shooting and said to hook up a LAN line from router to extender. Bingo! that worked. I have it in my shop 60' behind my house, took a few password attempts to get it to connect. I had one of those cheap egg shaped extenders but lost the signal when I painted four coats of paint to the inside of the door. So I bought The Netgear 750. All bars on 2g and 5g. If you have a window, set the extender as close as you can to it, Signal goes threw glass better than walls. Picture of my revised outlet.

Easy Setup & It Works
||Posted .I purchased the device for my sister, who is not technically inclined. However, she read the basic instructions and had it up and running within half an hour. She also stated that is works perfectly, the signal in her furthermost room from the router has a strong signal. Problem solved! I, now, plan to purchase one to obtain a more robust signal in my upstairs office.

Love this booster!
||Posted .We have block walls in our home, and because of the thickness, it was impossible to receive WiFi signal in many rooms. We researched several options, and after reviewing this booster, we decided to give it a try. Great results at a bargain price! We love our Netgear AC750 and highly recommend it! You won't be disappointed!

Easy install and it works great!
||Posted .I was having WiFi issues in my RV with my Verizon Fios that was in the house. I moved the wireless router as close to the end of the house, the RV is on a concrete pad at the end of the driveway. My local Best Buy store suggested this unit to extend my routers signal. Put the unit in the front of the RV and sure enough that was all I needed to get end to end coverage in my 38' RV . Very satisfied with the setup. Hope it will work just as well on the road near public WiFi's and in campgrounds.

Monitoring My Solar System
||Posted .I am using a NETGEAR AC750 WiFi Range Extender (EX6100v2) to connect to a solar inverter for monitoring. The inverter uses an Ethernet connection. I put the range extender in the garage. The installer drilled a hole in the wall and connected the range extender to the inverter with a Cat5 cable. So far, the connection to my home WiFi has been very good, and I'm able to monitor my solar system's performance in real time continuously. I'm a long-term user of NETGEAR devices.

Netgear AC750 WiFi Range Extender EX6100 reviewIf it supported powerline networking and had better overall performance, the Netgear AC750 WiFi Range Extender EX6100 would be a great networking device. As a pure Wi-Fi extender though, it's both awkwardly designed and underpowered.

Netgear AC750 WiFi Range Extender EX6100 review:Netgear's AC750 WiFi Range Extender (EX6100) ($89.99) was released about the same time as the pricier Netgear AC1200 WiFi Range Extender (EX6200) ($219.98 at Amazon). The EX6100 is lower-priced because it's not as feature-packed (nor does it offer

Q: Questionwhat is the range on this device
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer My house is 2200 SQR FT and the total property is 8200 SQR FT. The router is about 200FT away from the range extender inside the house on one end and the range extender is on the opposite side. There are several walls separating the router from the extender. By using this product I now have full internet access in and around my house with no problem.

Q: QuestionDoes this unit have to be plugged in to the same electric circuit as the router is in?My router is down stairs in the living room and I have a really weak signal in all the upstairs bedrooms so I got a powerline but in the guidelines I noticed it said the Powerline type of extenders they have to be plugged in on the same electric circuit, that didn't work for the way my house is set up so I'm hoping that's not the case with this one as well.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer This unit does not use the power line for a signal path. It receives the wireless signal from your router and amplifies it, thereby extending the range (place where there is still a good signal from the router and it will cover your dead spots) or in wireless access mode connects to your network with an ethernet cable and then works as a wireless hotspot.

Q: QuestionWill the AC 750 Wi Fi range extender work with COMCAST
Asked by Anthony C.
- A:Answer Yes it works fine. The speed depreciated a little...and yet I can stream video and other large downloads with ease. The software makes it pretty easy to connect to the comcast router.

Q: QuestionUsing more than one to increase range? My house is large and has many nooks and crannies. Would it be possible to use two of these to increase coverage to areas of the house that are not receiving any signal now? For example, my basement bedroom doesn't receive a signal and Comcast told me it was because there was too much interference from walls, etc. So I am thinking of using one booster at the half way point which should increase coverage upstairs and a little in the basement and then a second one in the basement itself to boost the signal more down there.
Asked by rcadianne.
- A:Answer It would give you wifi signal, however, each one has a different wifi name. You would have to reload wifi in each area. It's better than nothing I think.

Q: QuestionI live in a building that provides WiFi but the signal is weak in my unit. Will this help to get a better signal and increase my download and upload speed?
Asked by Josh.
- A:Answer Sure worked for me. Living upstairs and the opposite end of a huge home my laptop did not get the best signal. Not now with this booster. I might as well be hard wired to high speed! The improvement is just what I needed. Hope this helps. Price is great and picked it up the same day I started looking for something. Good luck...... Buy it!

Q: Questioncan I use this for wifi without having a internet provider?I am looking for an extender to wifi without having to sign up with a cable company.
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer No.. you must have internet... that was what I thought too. big mustake. you can get your neighbor to set it up for you if they have internet and it will work on their router, and give you a strong wifi in your home.. but they end up with the extender and you might want to work something out with them.
