A: Hi Michelle. The included HDMI cord transmits the resolution set in the DVR. If you have your DVR set to record and playback at 5MP resolution and your TV is compatible with this resolution, then you will not have an issue. You will be able to view your recordings in 5MP on your TV. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
A: Good Afternoon, the Night Owl Cameras are weatherproof. When installing them we recommend to not place the cameras where rain or snow will hit the lens directly nor should the cameras be placed so that the sun or bright light shines directly into the lens.The cameras will not work when submerged in water.Also, ensure that all power and video connections are not directly exposed to water and are protected from the elements. Q: can i view this system from my samsung phone, while away from home?
A: Yes. In order to do so you will need a functioning Internet connection. The DVR will need to be connected to your modem/router via the included Ethernet cable. Then, simply download the compatible remote viewing application for Free and configure it to your DVR. Thank you for choosing Night Owl!
