Nice lens
||Posted .I have a Nikon d800 and i was looking for a high quality mid-range zoom for travel. I considered the 24-70 f2.8, but the size, weight and limited range on that lens put me off. I went ahead and ordered the 24-120mm f4. I have no regrets. The colour, contrast, focussing speed, and sharpness of the 24-120 f4 are all very impressive.

Good overall all purpose lens
||Posted .I bought this after a thorough research of the lens in several online websites and I am NOT disappointed at all. The zoom range is very useful and is good for wide angle and mid-range telephoto. The only thing I don't like about this lens is its weight. If you are looking for light weight lens, this is not for you. I like the versatile range of zoom.

Q: Questionwil this lens work with nikon d5300 with autofocus or only manual?
Asked by Anonymous.
- A:Answer Your camera, the D5300 does not have a built-in focus motor. This is done to keep the size of the camera compact. The lenses you would need to use, should you require autofocus, are Nikon lenses with the AF-S designator. This means that the lens has Nikon's Silent Wave Autofocus Motor built-in to it. The 24-120 f/4 is an AF-S lens. It is compatible and you will be able to use Aufofocus on your camera.
