Nintendo - amiibo Figure (Pikmin)

The amount of detail that went into this design should be appreciated. Each Pikmin has it's own unique look and personality. I love pairing this Pikmin Amiibo with my Olimar Amiibo (even though his Pikmin are a tad smaller than the five Pikmin in this Amiibo). Good job Nintendo!!

Nintendo delivers with this Amiibo! Pairs perfectly with the game Hey! Pikmin. Can be leveled up and used in the game to call more pikmin to aid you. Great product!

As for it being an amiibo... it is another well made detailed sculpt, as many amiibos have been. So perhaps... no surprises there. As a companion to the game released along side it Hey! Pikmin. It is a collectable within the game (As are other amiibos). This pikmin amiibo allows you to call in pikmin within a stage and can be leveled up to provide more "troops" from the pikmin park in the game. The usage is slight, and Hey! Pikmin itself is so easy you may never need to call in additional help using the amiibo. If you bought into Hey! Pikmin the amiibo is worth your money to at least provide some small added depth of play to a fairly simple game.

Super cute Amiibo! Works superbly on my 3DS XL. This Amiibo has added a lot more playtime and fun to my experience with the Pikmin game. It allows me to "Call for Pikmin" when I need them. It also allows me to unlock many hidden areas that would otherwise be unavailable. I purchased it during the past Christmas holiday and have to say, thank you Best Buy for having this Amiibo available! My kids love playing with it as well! ;-)

If you're an amiibo person, you're an amiibo person. This is a nice amiibo and it looks great on my shelf next to my Olimar amiibo. It's sort of uncommon to find Pikmin merch, so it's a great option for Pikmin fans looking to display something from the series they like. Haven't tested it in a game, as I bought it for display/collecting purposes.

We bought this amiibo specifically for its use with Hey! Pikmin, but also just because we're fans of Pikmin and wanted it on the shelf. It works just as every other amiibo does and as a shelf piece it's detailed perfectly and looks like a high quality figurine. If you're of fan of Pikmin and have the newest Pikmin game there's no reason not to pick this up.

This is a nice figure and I wanted it just for display purposes. It works with the Hey Pikmin game to allow you to call more Pikmin to yourself in a level, or to allow you to unlock and collect other supported amiibos in special amiibo levels in the game. If you have a Mario amiibo, you could scan that and it would appear in game for you to collect, but if you did not have one, you could scan this amiibo and depending on where you were, it would act as a Mario amiibo and unlock that in the game, so in theory, if the only game you cared about amiibo for was Hey Pikmin, then this is the only Amiibo you would ever need. I have not used it in this way very much, so I cannot guarantee that it unlocks all supported amiibos.

This Pikmin Amiibo is nice if you are into Amiibo, or play Pikmin on the Nintendo WiiU / 3DS. It gives you bonus content, and perfectly captures the many adorbs that are those little Pikmin. A collectors item for sure. Best Buy always does good. Clean, fast and efficient customer service.
