Good novelty item, but not for daily use.
Great at making shaved ice from ice cubes you can easily make in your freezer. The only problem is that Nostalgia doesn't sell replacement blades. With daily use, this only lasted about 6 months before the blade went bad. If you're getting this for an occasional small party or special event, it should be fine. Get something more robust or with better customer service if you're going to use it regularly, though. Also, the hopper is fairly small, and the design is a bit slow in actually shaving the ice. So if you want to produce multiple sno cones in a short time frame, this isn't your appliance.

COVID house party essential.
Bought this as a Christmas present but it has been a treat for everyone in the house. The snow ice it produces is delicious and perfect for a snack at any time. We haven't even bought syrups for it; we have just been loving the crunch and adding coke to it. The container holds a LOT of ice. We have not once actually filled it past the quarter mark. It also has a little flip down if you want to just fill up the little cone it comes with. The scoop is helpful but I wish there was a notch for it in the back to keep it with the unit. I will probably just remedy that with a command hook. The unit is also very loud but then again, it is crushing ice sooo... All and all, it was a great purchase and we love it.

Snow Cone Party Station Summer Here We Come!!!
This Snow Cone Machine is awesome!! I love that you can make snow and allow multiple snow cones to be be made at once. It's quick and easy to work, and it makes nice fine snow for snow cones. It cleans up easy and has multiple functions to make your snow cone party convenient. Like the two syrup bottles on the sides, and the snow cone holder if you choose to make individual ones. I would definitely recommend to family and friends!! Thanks for a great product~~
