Nyko - Charge Base Induction Charging Dock for Nintendo Wii

Nice replacement for the endless stream of AA batteries for the Wii remote. This is the second unit I have bought, as the batteries in the first one stopped charging after three years, but for the price that's still not bad. I tried to find just replacement batteries, but they were the same cost or more than a replacement charger and batteries.

The product doesn't work and I did not buy at Best Buy so now I'm stuck fighting with Nyko for over two months to get a replacement battery pak. One battery pak worked great but the other in the box would not charge at all. I contacted Nyko customer service and never received an answer until I complained on Facebook. Still I've been waiting over two months for aq replacement pak and when it comes they won't be black anymore. It'll be grey now. Seems they had trouble getting the charger to work through the black plastic.

Just like another review said, only one battery worked, and Nyko has been NO help. They claim that the charging base is discontinued and they can't send a replacement battery. I don't think that I have the packaging anymore, so I might just be out of luck. DON'T BUY THIS UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!

I've tried charging several Wii remotes with it and it is just not charging, not even a little bit. I've tried all the steps several times and still nothing. Unfortunately for me I threw out the packaging so I can't return it.

I read some reviews about this product when looking to buy another one The product I have has worked flawlesssly for a year now. We have aquired anothe wii,(Iknow they make a quad model) and want another charger and more batteries. The charge holds for around 3 or 4 days at pretty heavy use. I have children and they are on the wii at some point on any given day. I was happy enough with the first and am confident in picking up a second.
