Landline phone bills were crazy expensive. No More. With this device I was able to set up my landline phone through my internet and use a free online program from a major search engine (not sure if I can allude to them or not) to rout all my internet calls to my landline. There are still features that I keep finding that I did not know it had. Which is why I only gave it 4 starts instead of 5. I had to find articles online to assist me with getting this set up, and I am still not for certain that I am utilizing all of the features, but they are only luxuries... for now, I am enjoying the savings

When my husband and I needed to cut utility costs, one of the first discussions we had was cutting our home phone. Instead of cutting it altogether, we decided to go with VoIP and saw that Obihai has gotten great reviews. We signed up for a package with Anveo which has saved us over $200 per year over our old landline service... which didn't even include long distance! The only issues I have had with call quality were most likely on the other end (my mom put her cellphone through the washing machine LOL!). Other than that, I have been very pleased with the results!

This worked great until they dropped support for Google Voice. I replace it with an OBi200 and it works fine for the fax line on my multifunction printer.

I purchased this device over a year ago and have been very pleased with this device. Combined with the google voice account, it enables you to take your device where you go or leave it at home and use the smartphone or desktop apps. I have used this extensively and have been pleased with the service. I even have it setup for my cell and my wife. Although it takes a little technical knowledge to configure the device and install the apps on the smartphones, for anyone who can follow directions with patience or has some technical knowledge, this is a great value!
