Q: Can this griddle be immersed in water for cleaning.?
A: Not completely, The side with the plug in can not be underwater.
A: Yes, and a warming tray.
Q: Can I use the top portion also as a warming tray? Such as putting a small dish on top.
A: I won't use like that because the heat is different like in a microwave. You may ending braking the other dish used.
A: You can use the bottom portion only as a warming tray. The top portion is the griddle for cooking. Hope this helps!
