A: I got this screen protector after having 2 Zaggs that chipped. Now, that I'm using this Otter Box, I've noticed the touch screen works so much better than the Zagg. I always thought it was just my phone or the way I was swiping it. The Otter Box is great and fits more of the phone and couldn't have gone on more easily. No bubbles of any kind to worry about. Just wiped the screen with wet cloth provided and laid it on the phone. Ran the soft cloth (also provided) over it. DONE! Love it!
Q: Is this screen protector actually clear or does it have the black bars at the top and bottom?
A: It does have a black bar at the very top and one at the bottom (where your "Back" and "Close All" buttons are).......but the rest of the screen is clear & works fine to the touch!
Q: Does this screen protector negatively impact the phones clarity when used with the Gear VR?
A: It does not impact clarity. Beware, the first two I opened up were flawed. One was scratched and the other had bubbles within the glass. Third one was flawless and I also noticed it has "full coverage" across the screen after it was installed. It leaves a small gap around the edges so the cases don't interfere. I can't even tell the protector is on when I use my Gear VR.
A: Mine hasn't. The adhesive is very strong, so much so that I slid my screen down slightly after lowering it and now I do have schmutz around the top where some of the adhesive was left on my screen where I slid it down...make sure of your positioning before dropping it down...do not slide it! Other than that I like the screen.
