OtterBox - Defender Series Modular Case for LG G6 - Vinyasa

So far I have nothing to say since I just receive.

I have been purchasing OtterBox cases since 2012. I have never had an issue with them and I have purchased the defender and commuter series OtterBox cases for mine and my family's cell-phones. I have had an OtterBox on my Samsung S6 phone for about 3 years and when I recently upgraded and took my phone out the case, it looked brand new. Not a single scratch, smudge or blemish. Keep in mind it has fallen multiple times and gone through so much. I bought this recent case for my daughter's LG G6. Great case like the rest. However, I had to return the case because she decided to exchange her phone for an iPhone 7.

I have used Otterbox for going on 3 years and it is in perfect condition. I have dropped the phone several times and let me tell you...this phone is well protected. The Otterbox is hard plastic with a silicone cover. The hard part is raised slightly on all sides. This design keeps the screen protector scratch free and prevents cracking. The silicone cushions the fall. The only downside might be that the case may be a little hard to remove but in reality that's what makes it such a good case. You wont lose the phone while it is in it.

I have only had the LG G6 series since Spring. I absolutely hate it. It doesn't fit properly. I even checked, twice, to make sure I didn't somehow mix the G5 and G6 cases. I wish that were the case. Prepare to go through a few count to 10's when atempting to access the charging port. It now looks like it was a chew toy for bears. The entire bottom and lower corners of my phone are exposed. I have had an Otterbox for my phone for years, upgrading as my phone changes. This one is frustrating, not to mention stressful. If my phone breaks, it would be due to the poor design of this pointless "defender". This "betrayer" makes my phone as dirty as it would without. I wish I knew what to do to fix this problem because I would certainly enjoy watching my money wasted many other ways.

This Otterbox is a sturdy case with a belt clip. There are very few quality cases that fit my LG G6. It is light weight and includes a clear plastic window which protects my screen. I found that this plastic screen cleans off very easily. The price at Best Buy was a little higher than I would prefer but the sales associate allowed a price match with an online competitor.

Very good case its rugged but isn't too bulky. The only thing I dislike is the thick plastic screen protector which causes you to need to press down very hard for it to register your touch, Also makes swipe typing almost inpossible. The screen protector is easily removed though so that's a plus overall its a great case!

This is a good product. Protects phone very well. 3 pieces, 2 hard plastic pieces include a screen protector, and a rubber case that goes on over the plastic. The back of the case does not hold a suction cup and could use a kick stand. The case is more expensive then most other cases. Readily available in stores.

In the past I purchased cases that really didn't offer the best protection for my phone. I didn't want to pay a lot but in the end my phone was easily damaged. Although this was a pricey purchase I had to come to terms that I was protecting my investment. Much better than paying hundreds of dollars for new phone!
