There are only few choices for corded phones with answering machines and caller ID on today's market. I have used one of those phones for only few years and had to replace it with another one because the display was blurry. I wish the company would update this model with a lit display. Many customers have stated such a preference but Panasonic doesn't seem to listen to dissatisfied customers.

I have a house full of Panasonic products-so I like the product but no so much on this phone/answering mchine. Made my phone line ring busy. I could not get a answering machine by itself-that is what I really needed. Disappointed.

QuestionCan I connect a fax machine to this using the same phone line?

- Answer Thank you for your question Bob. The phone does not have a DATA port at the back but if you have a different phone jack where you can install the fax machine then there should be no problem having the KX-TS620W and your fax machine work on the same phone line.

- Answer Hi TJC, We have a separate Back Up Battery device that you can use with the phone, this is a separate device that you will install with your base unit, the model number for the back up battery is KXTCA230.
