A: The dashcam is not meant to be a stand alone unit and will need to be plugged into a power source at all times you'd like to use it. If you would not like to use the standard car charger you can also hardwire the dashcam or power it using a power bank. A: Hi M, When recording in motion detection mode the dashcam will activate a screensaver and the screen will go blank while still recording in the background, after pushing a button on the dashcam to activate the screen a pop up will come up and give you a count for how many times motion was detected. A: Hi Homer, The front cam has two mounting options a suction cup mount and an adhesive mount. The rear cam is applied with an adhesive mount.
