A: Yes, I have this radio, it is actually simple to connect android. I use it to listen to Pandora, YT music and pretty much anything with audio. You can also make connection for phone calls. The stereo comes with a microphone which allows you to be heard clearly.
Q: Are any mounting kits or accessories needed to install this in a 1999 Jetta?
A: I was told if I had put in the car a stereo before, that I would not need the mounting kit. If you have never changed the stereo in the car you will.
