Just get an SSD
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. It has plenty of storage and transfers quickly. The only thing I would like to note is that the value may or may not be there. I bought this 256gb for about $50. You can get a Samsung 500gb external ssd for $80. The external will store more and transfer faster, I would say that would be the better value.

Way nicer than a SanDisk for not much more!
||Posted .Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This USB 3.1 drive is heavier than expected, lending to a feel of higher quality. I'm not sure if it's metal or ceramic, but the weight and feel are top notch. It's backwards compatible to USB 3.0 and 2.0 (with caveats). The performance over 3.1 is excellent and competes against my Samsung T5 in convenience and portability. Transferring files work great, liveUSB systems (Linux) are quick to load and very snappy. I only have one gripe and it's very minor. The connector protrudes from the housing ever-so-slightly, marring it's otherwise high quality finish.

Beast mode
Posted .Bought the 256 at a great price under 60$. I transfer a lot of movies back and forth on it across multiple viewing devices. The speed of this isn’t far off of an internal sata drive and better than some lower drives.

Q: QuestionCan this thumb drive be partitioned?
Asked by HowardK.
- A:Answer Yes! This drive can be formatted with any modern partition scheme. It appears to the BIOS/UEFI as a USB HDD and can be treated almost identical to an internal disk. Generally speaking try to keep to a GPT partition scheme unless you need to support legacy devices.
