Essential camera component
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.PNY consistently makes flash memory products of very high quality for their price point, which is, in turn, comparatively low. That said, there isn't much to say about an SD card. This is not the fastest card in terms of data transfer rate, so if you need a card for effortless HD video recording and/or very fast high-resolution still shots, you'll want a class 10 card, and you'll likely want something bigger than 8GB anyway. There is no discernible delay in image processing/storage when used in a Nikon D60 shooting RAW format (10MB files) or in any number of point-and-shoot cameras. This product was designed for interoperability and ease-of-use, and is both compatible and simple. I've also found that PNY cards can typically (but not always) sustain more read/write cycles than advertised, which is nice.

No camera should be without one at least this size
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. All our cameras have an 8-gig memory card. We've been to Peru, Europre, Alaska, Yellowstone and all over the lower 48 states for at least 2+ weeks each. I love taking pictures so this size card is big enough with room left over for all our trips. I have yet to run out of room for that "one more" special photo. You don't have to worry about getting pictures or videos off the card to make room for more on your trips.

8Gb is plenty of space
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I got this free from best buy with my Sony WX300 purchase. (Thanks BB). Its plenty of space for the camera. I never fill it up. We transfer our pics to a seperate storage device so capacity is never an issue. Why spend more than you have to. Its works perfectly and backup your photos.

Worked great for child's DSI
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to get the pictures off my child's Nintendo DSI. It works great! Gave her extra room on her device. Was cheap enough I don't have to worry if it's lost or damaged. And now she can upload her pics via the card to her computer to edit, share, etc.

Great Product, Amazing Price
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I broke (don't ask me how) my 6 year old SD card so I went to purchase a new one. This 8GB Card replaced a 2GB Card and was listed at an awesome price. Used it in Hawaii and it stored over 2,500 photos with room to spare!

It's a card, it works
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this card on sale for about 7 or 8 bucks I think and it has worked fine with my Nikon D5100. I haven't had any issues, data transfer is fast, etc. It's a card and does what it is supposed to.
