Q: I am looking for a flash drive to be compatible with my playstation4, will this work?
A: The PNY 256 Elite is great, hence the name but PNY 256 Turbo would be your best option for that type of console, for you should want the highest level of resolution and speed. I have both. The problem is, I had the Turbo first and then tried the Elite. While I like the Elite, I was hurt. It's like being a long time Journey fan, and now with no Steve Perry I have to deal with a wannabe. The Sandisk will present as an option if you don't know any better, but don't be deceived. I have always owned only PNY Turbos' (i have five) until someone convinced me to try the Sandisk item. Never again!! Hope this helps, enjoy.
A: I can't answer your question specifically, but I can offer some sort of idea. I haven't done mp3 storage yet, but I do movies and TV shows. If I have straight movies I can store anywhere from 240 to 255, naturally because of the length of the movie. I.e., hour and thirty minutes, two hours and 25 minutes or like Lord of the Rings a four hour movie. Now with TV shows, easily just over 500. Get it. These are all incredibly large files, so imagine how many mp3s you can get seeing a mp3s size is nothing compared to movies and TV shows. Hope that helps.
A: From what I could find on Amazon, it looks like the Elite X advertises 185mb/s read speed, while the Turbo advertises 115mb/s read speed, making the Elite X series about 60% faster at reading files than the Turbo series. Reviewers have noted that both models struggle with write speeds, though.
