I replaced the cheap ram in my Acer Predator 17 G9 971ce with 2 sets of these babies. I ran a test unit to the battery, and to the power board. With 2 of the cheap ram, constant drain ran .5v higher with similar current rating, and with 4 of these, I have 4 times the ram amount, longer battery life (checked against my 1 hour from before, on a system with lesser windows home; now has windows 10 64 pro for workstations) and everything runs much faster. My system also runs just slightly colder, which is great as it's aging just a bit. I let the battery run down to about 20%, I got about 2 hours + out of it without running too many graphic intense items. This is a gaming\creator laptop, so at 2 hours, I'm happy. With both wireless and ethernet running, along with some usb flash drives, and a sata HDD running, I get close enough to 2 hours. It's enough to record some sound\music, edit a couple of photos, write a paper, check and reply to email. I tested further by loading it down a bit. My heat pushed a little higher, the voltage load only slightly, and I got about 1.5 hours before hitting 8% batt, while running several (6) medium-heavy apps from office 365, to presonus studio one artist 3, to adobe photoshop... ...it still powered through, and I worked a little in each of them, moving between them with only a slight pause for processor turnover.
