Q: can this machine run without wi fi and if so how
A: We would like to confirm that this robot can be used without Wi-Fi. You would need to used the buttons on top of the robot to control it. With this being said, we recommend pairing the robot with the Shark App to receive regular updates to the robot and the app. This will ensure that the robot is maintaining optimal performance. You will also have the option to set up a cleaning schedule.
A: I am pleased to report that Shark customer service knows how to write pleasing sentences. I am sad to report that Shark Customer Service is actually a AI robot and hasn't been programmed to answer direct questions from customers. I am confused to report that Shark Customer Service will simply looks for keywords in the customer's question and look for matching keywords in their user manual and cut and paste a redundant sentence from the user manual in the "answer box" if their is one keyword match between the "question" and the verbiage in the user manual.

Q: can you program it to do what room you want and what is the robot rv761 path?
A: We would like to let you know that this robot can not be programmed to clean a certain area. This robot has a random path when cleaning.
Q: How does this work with shag area rugs ..?
A: It doesn't. Got a new bathroom runner that's kinda plush, maybe 1 inch. On the daily, I get home from work and have to pick the robot vacuum up off of that runner and put it back on the dock because it's been sitting there discharging all day long. Thankfully, it's about as far away from the dock as you can possibly get, so it's the last stop the robot would make anyway.
