A: Hello Brian, Yes the RAM can be upgrade without void warranty. You can install total 2 RAMs on the TS-X51+ series, and each RAM MAX 8GB total 16GB. Thank you,
A: Per product definition page, it comes with 2 free IP cam licenses and all qnap come with surveilance station. Some higher end models come with higher count of IP cam licenses
Q: Hi. What is the maximum storage space (TB) Hard Drive per bay can be supported?
A: Per the QNAP web site, it looks like it can support 10TB drives, so you can have 40TB of raw space maximum, but will certainly be lower depending on your parity and redundancy choices.
Q: Does this run Virtualization Station?
A: Virtualizaton Station 3.0 is an available app that can be Downloaded.. Beyond that - I don't know much about it.. I run a PLEX server (using 3 drives) and I run a 4th drive that the Camera system is recording to.. Works GREAT!!
