Q: Does Quell help with Arthritis, Fibromyalgia or Neuropathy?

A: The Quell was the Best Buy I have made. I have spent money on other products only to find they did not work. I recently had a knee replacement and back surgery. After the first time I used the Quell I saw improvements in my knee stiffness and pain. I have been using this product for about 2 weeks and have also seen some improvements in my back pain and spasms. This is not a cure for chronic pain, however it will help increasing your mobility . I would recommend this product to anyone that has chronic back and knee pain. Just be careful of the settings. The electric pluses can cause a jolt if they are on a high setting. Be sure to shut machine off before removing

Q: Does this work for sciatica pain?

A: Quell is broadly indicated for the relief of chronic pain. We're hearing from patients with a wide variety of chronic pain conditions, including Sciatica, who have reported experiencing relief with Quell. We can't tell you definitively whether you will get relief with Quell, but we offer a 60 day money back so you can try it risk-free.

Q: What is the length of the straps? I have bigger calves and was wondering if the straps would fit me.

A: I have large calfs and I still find the band reaches all the way around, it has a lot of elasticity to it. That being said, here is Quell's official response: The comfortable sports band is designed to fit most legs and is adjustable. It will fit any leg from 12 inches (30.5cm) to 24 inches (61cm) in circumference. If your leg is larger than 24 inches in diameter, please call our customer care team at 1-800-204-6577 to ask for a band extender.

Q: Would quell help a m/s person walk more stable

A: Hi! I have MS and also polyneuropathy. Quell doesnt help me walk better per se, but it does help with neuralgic pain!!!! Since being on my Quell I am off any pain meds 90% of the time now. It also calms my restless legs and pain so I can sleep. It rocks.

Q: Does it help Arthritis in the lower back hips area

A: Yes it helps if you use it every day, even in your sleep and stick with it long term. that being said, everyone's pain is different and results vary person to person. I need my Quell set quite high, on the upper 20's to mid 30's and get mild relief. Others I know swear this is the solution they've been searching for and have stopped taking all prescription pain meds. Try it, stick with it and I'll say it won't make your pain any worse.

Q: I am a guy with "hairy legs." Should I shave around my lower legs where you wear the Quell unit to extend the life of the electrodes or does it really matter?

A: Use the “sport electrodes” only and there is no problem with leg hair at all. The normal electrode isn’t really a problem either with hairy legs but they are much ‘gooier” and the electrode substance tends to stick to your leg and i have not gotten more than a week’s use of normal electrode that ships with the device ‘starter kit’. Also, there is no difference in device performance, comfort or wearability with the sport electrode The ‘sport electrode’ substance is much less gooey, dryer, more concentrated and easily last two weeks and never sticks to your leg, hairy or not, when removing the device/ electrode. Hairy or not I highly recommend the ‘sport electrode’ instead of the normal one that ships with the starter kit and there is no need to shave the area - mostly because you’ll be moving it to the opposite leg and rotating its location as it tends to irritate the area if you don't and leave the device on your leg 24/7 in the same position. Hope this helps - Carl

Q: Are better results achieved with a higher intensity setting.? What is the optimum intensity setting?

A: My wife, who has a bad back injury, wears it so I will relate what she tells me. She sets the intensity via an app on her smartphone. It is not like a tens unit where the more pain you can endure, the better. With Quell, the setup will ask a few "can you feel it now" questions and set it accordingly. My wife LOVES her Quell so much she could be a spokesperson for the company. It comes with a 30 day money back guarantee, so PLEASE give it a try.
