A: The Quell was the Best Buy I have made. I have spent money on other products only to find they did not work. I recently had a knee replacement and back surgery. Q: Would quell help a m/s person walk more stable
A: Hi! I have MS and also polyneuropathy. Quell doesnt help me walk better per se, but it does help with neuralgic pain!!!! Since being on my Quell I am off any pain meds 90% of the time now. It also calms my restless legs and pain so I can sleep. It rocks.
A: It is not waterproof and, therefore, should not be used during water activities.
Q: Does it help Arthritis in the lower back hips area
A: Yes it helps if you use it every day, even in your sleep and stick with it long term. that being said, everyone's pain is different and results vary person to person. I need my Quell set quite high, on the upper 20's to mid 30's and get mild relief. Others I know swear this is the solution they've been searching for and have stopped taking all prescription pain meds. Try it, stick with it and I'll say it won't make your pain any worse.
A: Use the “sport electrodes” only and there is no problem with leg hair at all. The normal electrode isn’t really a problem either with hairy legs but they are much ‘gooier” and the electrode substance tends to stick to your leg and i have not gotten more than a week’s use of normal electrode that ships with the device ‘starter kit’. Also, there is no difference in device performance, comfort or wearability with the sport electrode The ‘sport electrode’ substance is much less gooey, dryer, more concentrated and easily last two weeks and never sticks to your leg, hairy or not, when removing the device/ electrode. Hairy or not I highly recommend the ‘sport electrode’ instead of the normal one that ships with the starter kit and there is no need to shave the area - mostly because you’ll be moving it to the opposite leg and rotating its location as it tends to irritate the area if you don't and leave the device on your leg 24/7 in the same position. Q: Are better results achieved with a higher intensity setting.? What is the optimum intensity setting?
A: My wife, who has a bad back injury, wears it so I will relate what she tells me. She sets the intensity via an app on her smartphone.
