QuestionEven after LG sent me the SW Update on a USB drive, these still cut out frequently. Has anyone found a permanent solution to this issue? It is very irritating, I'd rather not have them at all.

- Answer I had issues with the sound going out for a second and then coming back. I talked to a sound guy at Best Buy and they said for me to switch out the stock optical cable with a new one. Once I did that the sound has not gone out once.

- Answer Hello, the SPJ4-S is an add on kit that can not operate on its own. It must be paired with either SJ4Y or SJ5Y Sound Bar Models. ^AC

QuestionI recently purchased both the lg sound bar sj4y-s and the rear speakers spj4 and I am having an issue where the sound from the rear speakers cuts out but only in one speaker. I have reconnected the speakers with the sound bar and it is still happening.

- Answer Normal problem sadly but they little cut outs here and there are worth the sound u get what I have found that works when it cuts out power it off and back on for me it fixes it for the rest of the day

QuestionWhy has LG abandoned people who have purchased their audio products? I recently purchased the LG SJ9 Atmos Soundbar and it literally has no support for wireless rear surround speakers. Music Flow speakers have been discontinued. Will not buy LG again

- Answer The rear speakers for this LG 2.0 ch Sound Bar Wireless Rear Speaker Kit, Model # SPJ4-S are not wireless Bluetooth Speakers. They are connected to the wireless receiver with the supplied speaker wire and the wireless receiver receives audio wirelessly from a compatible LG Sound Bar. For the best quality connection it is advised to have the receiver close to the soundbar. ^CP

QuestionI have the SPJ4-S Wireless Surround Kit and the SJ4Y-S Sound bar. Why wont t they will not connect?

- Answer First, check the distance. Next, turn off all other wireless devices in the room - not sure why from a tech perspective but I had some challenges until I shut off the two other wireless items in the room and then it worked. I powered everything down. Pushed the wireless connect button on the speaker receiver first, then I turned on just the sound bar - this worked. It has also not lost connection once it was paired. We did move the receiver unit once and put it behind and just lower than our sofa and it was enough to lose the signal. Once I brought the receiving unit back up to it reconnected right away. Hope this helps!

QuestionI have the LG SJ5Y soundbar system. Can another sub be added for a more bassy sound? Or is there a way to add more bass? I like the ease of installation and the price, but it doesn’t offer the deep rich bassy tone that a true home theater offers.

They are connected to the wireless receiver with the supplied speaker wire and the wireless receiver receives audio wirelessly from a compatible LG Sound Bar.
