A:AnswerIf your warranty is still good, depending upon what you have been told, when you dropped off the item to be repaired, the insurance should cover the product. Unless you spend more on the new replacement, you would have to make up the difference. You also have to get new Geek Squad Product Replacement with the replaced item. The old insurance coverage no longer exists on the replacement item that you pick up.
A:AnswerHi there. Thanks for your great questions! If we come out an install the Ring product and you have issues within 3 months, we'll come back out there and re-set the unit back up. Generally for a product like this, we'd service it in the home if there was an issue. So you'd give us a call and we'd come out there to work on it. If it's something we know we'll just replace, we may have you bring it in. I hope this helps out a little. If you have any more questions, we'd recommend reaching out to your local Best Buy store. You can find information about your local store at www.bestbuy.com/storelocator.
A:Answeris there any kind of tech support from geek squad before bringing item in.
how about included in the purchase is the purchase of a $300 modem. just phone tech support for initial setup.
this warranty service is geek squad, but we think of geek squad is solving problems, not insurance to replace parts or devices, actual tech-support settings and such. Thank you.
