Q: QuestionCan this be used as the sole monitor? I am looking for something to connect to my desktop HP computer when I travel instead of lugging around a heavy monitor. I do not want to use it as a second monitor.

• A:Answer I'd imagine you would be able to do this. However, it would be something that I would first try with your monitor next to you, and dry-run starting up your machine with this as the primary monitor a few times. If your computer doesn't recognize a traditional monitor input (such as HDMI, etc), it might require additional configuration. Also a quite note - make sure you have 2 dedicated USB ports for this monitor.

• A:Answer It does not. (I have this monitor and galaxy S10). I use the monitor with a laptop. The monitor is powered off the device that is connected to it. There isn't enough power from cell phones to power the monitor. There are portable monitors that have external batteries or are chargeable that will allow for this connection but they will be more money.

• A:Answer It should’ve had everything you needed in the box. The USB cable plugs into your computer on one side (double USB-A connector) and the other side of the cord connects to the back of the monitor.

• A:Answer If the teleprompter has a USB port that you can plug the monitor into, then it should work. If you're trying to mirror wirelessly then I don't think it'll work because the monitor gets both its power and signal from the USB connection. I plugged the monitor into a USB power source (not a computer) and the monitor shows a picture telling me to plug it into a computer. Hope this helps.

• A:Answer The power comes from the laptop (3.0). If you don't have a usb, it won't work. On 1 laptop I don't have a 3.0, but it has an extra usb for 2.0. This will be used as an extra sales station for mobile studio.
