A:AnswerYou should look at the power requirement of any equipment you are plugging in to a battery backup. From the total power draw added together from every component you can calculate approximately how long this battery backup unit (BBU) will last. It would be difficult for anyone to answer your question based of the information given. A LED tv today would last longer than a 35 inch tube tv because the power draw is higher. I have a 55 inch LG LED TV, Netgear router on a APC 1500 AVR BBU and will get approximately 2.5 hours runtime. This BBU unit is smaller therefore you will not get the same runtime if you had the exact same setup.
A:AnswerDepends on the device your needing to back up. But for the worlds basic stuff that needs backing up. Laptops tablets phones gaming systems. Yeah it will last a hour. If it’s like some elite gaming desktop computer I’m not sure. If anything try doing stuff like dimming a screen turn on Bluetooth ect to save on battery life.
A:AnswerIt could, but I would not recommend it. The last thing you want to do is have both point of sale PCs go down at the same time if the UPS fails. Buy two UPS units as they are not that expensive compared to potential lost sales.
A:AnswerI would say that your Mom would be fine.... give it a try just to be sure. Charge up the battery on the back up.... disconnect the power to it and verify how long it powers the chair. I bet that you will be pleasantly surprised how long it supplies enough power. I believe that the battery back up sounds an alarm when the battery is nearing depletion providing her with even more piece of mind. The alarm can be silenced by just turning the battery back up off. Just remember that the battery does not last forever. It may need to be replaced within a few years so to be sure I would want to test occasionally.
A:AnswerIt depends. It can take several small surges but no consumer UPS is designed to survive a direct lightning strike! The UPS should warn you when it has had enough.
A:AnswerI talked to APC directly about determining the wattage of whatever product you want to protect. They said if you have the manufacturer's manual of the product, the wattage should be listed. If not, contact the manufacturer the model number and they should be able to tell you.
A:AnswerProbably for a short time. It depends on the power consumption of your stove. Many pellet stoves draw about 300+ watts so this UPS would not power it for long.
A:AnswerThank you for you inquiry. Unfortunately the UPS will not support the CPAP machine for that long. You would need a much larger UPS. Also please do note that we do not recommend using our UPS with life saving devices. If you wish to discuss our products further please reach out to us at 1-800-800-4272 or [email protected].
