  • QuestionWill this support CPAP machines.

    Asked by Dale.

    • Answer Thank you for your interest in our products. The BN1350M2 wouldn't normally be used for a CPAP machine however if the machine doesn't pull more than 810 watts then it could be connected to it. Generally a CPAP machine would draw around 60 watts of power which would give you 1 hours and 20 minutes of runtime. If the power draw is higher the runtime would be lower and if power draw is lower than the runtime would be higher. I would just make sure the CPAP machine isn't near the UPS since water and humidity can damage our units. We also do not recommend connecting life saving devices to our units.

    Asked by Park.

    • Answer Thank you for your interest in our products. The BN1350M2 would have an user replaceable battery. Generally the internal batteries on our units last around 3 to 5 years. The part number for the replacement battery is APCRBC162.

  • QuestionApproximately how long would the battery last if I had a computer, 2 monitors & a modem connected?

    Asked by Wendi.

    • Answer It depends on the power consumption (watts) of the devices. A gaming computer will drain it much faster than a Chromebook. Generally 6 or 7 up to 30 minutes for low power devices. UPS are designed to prevent damage from sudden power surges and outages and allow safe shutdown after a power failure - NOT to keep on gaming in the dark.

  • QuestionCan this one help keep a samsung q90r 82inch tv on battery? I've used a 600va and it fails.

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Your TV Power consumption is Maximum: 255.0 W Typical: 115.0 W ... I would go with only a Pure SineWave Battery backup No less than 1500 or more.. So you know if your constantly have power outages those batteries will die faster, but your TV is saved from dead. Use the backup only with that 1 device ( TV 80) get another Backup for the other stuff connected.

    Asked by fernandoza.

  • QuestionWill the battery back-up outlets provide protection when having to plug the back-up into a two plug socket? I'm thinking that their a fuse safety system but I cannot seems to find it anywhere to verify.

    Asked by BirthdayGift.

    • Answer Thank you for your interest in our products. Unfortunately it would need to be plugged into a grounded plug to function correctly and shunt any excess surges. If our units are plugged into an ungrounded outlet they will show a site wiring fault as well. I apologize for any inconvenience this causes.

  • QuestionCan this power a recliner during power outage?

    Asked by handi10.

    • Answer APC’s Back-UPS models are mainly built to support computers and similar electronics. They’re not really meant for devices with motors—like fish tank filters, air conditioners, heaters, or vacuum cleaners—since those can overload or even damage the UPS. If you’d like a deeper explanation, feel free to check out our public article link below. It breaks down why Back-UPS units aren’t ideal for non-IT or non-computer devices. https://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA158851/
