  • Questionhas anyone used these on an airplane? Does it block out engine noise, crying babies, etc? Thanks.

    Asked by Tim.

    • Answer Yes. They are VERY good at blocking out 'predictable' sounds, like airplane engines, fans, mowers, air conditioners. Sounds that can be modeled and then the inverted model stream used to cancel them out. Occasional sounds like a bird chirping, baby crying, door slamming, will be reduced. But by their nature, they can't be worked into a stream that can be used to totally cancel them. So the effect will be less. Over all, between the active electronics and passive tips that fill the ear, outside sounds are very effectively reduced to a surprising degree.

  • QuestionDo they have a hearing aid function

    Asked by Anonymous.

    • Answer Yes, the new AirPod Pro 3 does include a hearing aid feature for along with a built-in “hearing test “and hearing protection “ You’ll need a compatible iPhone or iPad running iOS/iPad iOS 18 or higher or later versions to use these features - the hearing aid feature is intended for mild to moderate hearing loss, not for severe hearing impairment - there’s a “hearing test “you take via your Apple device, which helps configure the hearing aid settings

  • QuestionIf I already have a apple watch ultra that tracks my heart rate. How will that work with these airpods? Do they work together or does one do it better then the other?

    Asked by ActiveOrange83.

    • Answer One device will receive a more accurate reading based on the exercise you’re doing ( Apple Watch would receive a better reading whilst running and AirPods would be more accurate during weight training exercises.) Apple uses sensors in both Apple Watch and AirPods Pro 3 to determine which reading is more accurate in your current situation and, at times can mesh the two together for increased accuracy,

  • QuestionHow long do the actual air pods take to charge in the case ?

    Asked by Edgarrrr.

    • Answer 5 minutes charge will get you 30-40 minutes of music if the buds are dead (batteries charge faster the lower they are). Obviously the lower the charge the longer it will take, but they can fill up to full in about an hour.

  • QuestionHas anyone used in customer service? How are they on phone calls? Compatible with Microsoft Teams?

    Asked by JL.

    • Answer Once I figured out how to "answer the phone call" by touching the stem portion of the Airpod, it works great. I can clearly hear the person on the other end of the phone and someone I was talking to complimented me on the clarity of my voice. I am not using for any business type situation just phoning friends and family member, however. I have never used Microsoft Teams except on my desktop computer - not a phone situation.
